The Angelic Community Organizers

The Second Hierarchy – princes or lords of the court

Dominions – the fourth choir
Virtues – the fifth choir
Powers – the sixth choir choir

Dominions are known as dominations, lordships and because the mercy of God manifest through them they are also called the channels of mercy.

Dionysius the Pseudo-Areopagite refers to them in his Celestial Hierarchy as the “true lords” and says this realm “regulated the angels” who are constantly aspiring to lordship.

They are in the second hierarchy, the fourth choir and receive their commands from God through the Seraphim and Cherubim. These "lords" are so elevated they are totally liberated from earthly desires and yearnings.

It is said Dominions rarely make themselves physically known to mortals. Instead, they quietly concern themselves with the details of existence. Although they have rarely made themselves known to humans they are depicted as:

Divinely beautiful humans dressed in green and gold robes. Their wings are feathered and look much like the common representation of angels. They carry a scepter and sword to symbolize the divine power over all creation.

Some scholars say they carry a seal containing a monogram of Jesus in their right hand and a staff with a cross on the top in their left hand. Others describe them as wielding orbs of light fastened to the heads of their scepters on the pummel of their swords.

This angelic choir has a huge responsibility and may be the first realm of heavenly beings given executive free will to manage the daily functioning of the universe and supervise the duties of the lower angels. That’s why I call them the “community organizers”.

St. Paul mentioned the choirs of angels in his Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Colossians. Chapter 1:16 For by him were all things created that are in Heaven, and that are in earth visible and invisible, whether they be Thrones, Dominions, Principalities, or Powers: all things were created by him and for him.

Zadkiel also spelled (Tzadkiel, Zidekiel, Zadakiel, Zedekiel) means “righteousness of God” and Angel of Divine Justice. In rabbinic writings, Zadkiel is the chief or leader.

Zadkiel is best known as the angel who stopped Abraham from sacrificing his young son Isaac to God.

Hashmal – "the fire speaking angels". The chief angel of the order of hashmallim which comes from jewish mysticism.

Zacharael(Yahriel) - "remembrance of God”, in geonic lore he is one of the seven archangels; also he is the prince of dominations and ruler of the 2nd Heaven.

Muriel angel of the month of June and ruler of the sign of Cancer(crab). He also serves under Veguaniel as one of the chief angelic officers of the 3rd hour of the day.

I think the Dominions would like this quote by Gary Zukav:

Take your hands off the steering wheel. Be able to say to the Universe. Thy will be done
