• Most of the site content (including many posts in the forums, user profiles etc.) are open to page visitor including search engines. Members shouldn't share personal information in their profiles or posts which they don't want to publish in the internet. We have no control over search engine results when such information is submitted to the site by our members.
• Wendag server may collect and log IP addresses, browser information, cookie information, user actions performed in our website to provide a better service and improve the value of the materials available on website. These web logs are not sold or shared with third parties.
• Yet we share aggregate demographic information with our business partners, including advertisers. This data is not linked to any personally identifiable information.
• Wendag may share any information it has if an auhority (police force, Court etc.) requests it. Our site also reserves right to share such information to a complainer if any of our site visitors or members stalks or disturbes this user in an unacceptible manner and we confirm this with our records.
• Wendag contains links to, and graphics from, third-party websites and/or content providers. This Policy does not extend to those parties, nor is Wendag responsible for the content linked to or provided.
• Most of the information in this website is kept in a database which contains posts, registration info, survey/poll results, private messages, logged IPs etc. All this information contained within the database belongs to the administrator of Wendag and it can be accesible by site administration whenever it is required. So even the private messages which are saved in the database are accessible by site administration if needed so members are warned and asked to not to share too private and personal information in the private messages which shouldn't read by anybody.
• This website keeps the email address of its members hidden, unless member reveals it himself with opt-in selections. Member email addresses can be accessible to third parties if member posts it inside a forum post or emails another member.
• Wendag reserves its right to change this privacy policy anytime. Changes will always be reflected to this page.

Ons Visie

Ons visualiseer 'n nuwe era waar inligting vrylik kan vloei sonder vrees vir marginalisering, verkettering, of vervolging. Elke mens, man, vrou of kind, behoort in staat te wees om in positiewe verhoudings tot hulleself, hulle medemense, hulle omgewing en die goddelike te kan leef. Ons streef na 'n kultuur wat bevorderlik is vir ware selfverwesenliking.

Ons Missie

Wendag wil 'n ruimte vir oop religieuse gesprek verskaf. In hierdie spirituele ruimte kan nuwe gedeelde waardes ontwikkel word, en lewensin en betekenis aan die orde kom. Hierdie ruimte verskaf 'n spirituele en sosiale tuiste vir mense wat hulle met vrye religieuse denke identifiseer - veral uit die perspektief dat alle godsdienste en gelowe kultuurprodukte is.

Ons Doelstellings

In ooreenstemming met ons visie en missie, en gelei deur ons waardes, verenig Wendag stellings soos die volgende na te streef:

Oop Religieuse Gesprek

• om deur 'n gesprek mense te ondersteun om vrede te hê met hulle self, akkommoderend met ander mense saam te leef, en verantwoordelik met hulle omgewing om te gaan;
• om begrip vir religieuse diversiteit te bevorder;
• om wanpersepsies ten opsigte van die konigkryk van God deur gesprek op te klaar;
• om aansluiting te soek en te vind met vrye denkers wat dieselfde of soortgelyke doelstellings as ons het;
• om begeleidende materiaal vir kinders en volwassenes te verskaf;

Forum Rules

• All messages sent to forums should be in compliance with our site agreement, site principals and forum etiquette rules.
• A forum post can be sent to one forum area only. If a thread is related to more than one forum, it should still be posted to a single forum in which it fits better. Multiple posting of the same thread is not allowed.
• Every forum thread should be created in the relevant forum and every post should be posted in the relevant thread. Irrelevant, off-topic posts and threads should not be posted.
• Members should not post messages which can provoke, harass, disturb, agitate other members or minors.
• Posts which can be considered rude, unfriendly, angered, ill-mannered, inappropriate, uncalled-for, gratuitous, disturbing, unrespectful, unjust by other site members or site administration should not be posted.
• Replies and Questioning to warnings, notices and reminders of site admistration and moderators, criticism, complaints, discussions of site administration, site rules or the site itself, should be posted inside dedicated forum ONLY (if any) or sent via private message system or email system to site administration. Such discussions can not be pursued inside the public forums or existing threads.
• If a forum discussion mentions about a name, trademark, organization in an ill-mannered way, the name should be hid. Our site and forum should not be used to disclose or expose names in a badly manner.
• Posts in the forums are expected to be written in Afrikaans or English as it is the default language of our community. Posts should be clear, understandable, correct in grammer where possible and should avoid using too many appreviations and chat language slang.

General Forum Etiquette

• You should not TYPE YOUR MESSAGES IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS LIKE THIS LINE. This means shouting in the internet and considered rude.
• When you are creating a new thread, you should give a detailed and long subject which recaps what it is about well. You should avoid using short, irrelevant or unclear subjects like "Help me!", "Read this", "Anyone?", "What do you think?" etc.
• Reminders or warnings of forum moderators should be discussed with that moderator in private, not in public inside forum posts.
• If a forum thread is closed, a similiar thread should not be openned. Likewise one shouldn't post a thread to query why it is closed, this should be asked to forum moderator with a private message.
• Formatting of messages with coloring, making it underline, bold or italic, centering the text, indenting, using a different font size should be used to emphasise a small section of the post and not be applied to the entire post.
• If a post is quoted in your reply, you should only quote a small relevant section of it, not the entire post.
• Before openning a new forum thread, you should search the database and make sure that subject is not discussed before. If it is, you should add your post inside the existing thread and not post a new one.
• If a forum post is against rules, you should not reply, quote it or discuss it inside the forum. Instead you should click "report this post" link and notify forum moderators to take over.
• If any word in your post is replaced by *** this means it is in our filter list and you should not use that word in the forum again and never attempt to bypass filter list to write the word in a different syntax.
• If a thread is closed by forum administation, you can not create a new thread about the same subject or any thread questioning why thread is closed. Such questions should be pointed to site administration privately.
• If you receive a private message or email from another user, you should not post it publicly without prior consent of the sender.
• If you don't like a member in the forum, you should put him to your ignore list and never hear from him again. Do not flame forums for such users or reply their posts.
• In forum based sites, requests for membership removals is not welcomed. These sites are free, members find them and join them themselves without any invitation so if the site does not appeal to them, they are expected to abondon it and never visit it again instead of insisting for a membership removal.
• In forum based sites, change of usernames frequently is not welcomed and should not be requested unless necassary.
• Do not pm/email moderators, administrators or any other site staff for small talk or for non-site related questions and conversations. You should discuss such subjects in the forums.

Terms of Service

• Wendag is a private web club and visiting this website or being a member is a priviledge, NOT a right.
• Wendag has full liberty to choose its members. We reserve our rights to accept or reject any member signups, remove or banish any member from the site, grant and revoke any priviledges to members within the site without warning, prior notice or giving any reason and in anytime we find appropriate.
• Wendag can anytime stop or suspend its services without prior notice.
• The information published in this website may be outdated or wrong in one way or another, so no information should be used without consulting it with a professional.
• All content sent to Wendag by its members and visitors can be rejected, deleted, modified, edited by site administration.
• Legal rights of the content sent to Wendag by its members or visitors belongs to Site administration when they are submitted to the site unless it is clearly mentioned otherwise in the submit page. Site visitors/members can not ask the submitted content to be removed or unpublished from the site later.
• All site visitors who visit this website are obligated to obey site rules & site agreement and respect site principals and goals.
